How do I inflate this tube?

I just bought a tube for my bike. The value is neither Schrader or Presta. I thought it was Presta (I was running and rushing so didn't remove the valve cap to see exactly what it was).
Tube is by Kenda. 26x1 3/8-3/4. Box does not describe the valve.
Once the plastic valve cap is removed there is a piece that unscrews so the valve can be changed. When this and the valve are removed there are two notches in the remaining piece, presumably to house a new valve. The last piece is the screw that will hold the valve against the rim.

I have a pump for Schrader valves and a converter for Presta.
I think my puncture repair kit (at home unfortunately, with my bike) has a thing that could be a replacement valve insert. Not sure what the resulting valve would be (Schrader or Presta).

I've searched Yahoo! for pics of this valve but no results. Loads of debates about Schrader/Presta.

I was day dreaming down memory lane and I guess this valve is the type you used to screw one of those flexible cotten-covered tubes to, with the other end screwed into the pump.
Are these still used? Are adapters available for these to convert them to Schrader/car-type (because that's the type my Zefal pump accepts).

I decided to look up pumps on BikeDock.com. The first one I saw mentioned Schrader or Presta and Woods.

I searched Yahoo! for "Woods valve bicycle" and found this:
    http://www.yellowjersey.org/nuvalve.html
Valve 12 in the pic looks like the one I have. Hopefully my pump can handle it.
The flexible tube I mentioned in the last post are shown at: http://www.yellowjersey.org/PUMPBITS.JPG

Another site described this valve as:
Woods (the old fashioned one often found on old 3-speed bikes)

You can use a valve stem from a car wheel to inflate this type of valve.
just push it on to the valve and inflate it with the car pump.

You can see the three types of valve here:

Your presta adaptor will fit the Woods valve (remove the plastic cap, leave everything else in place), just don't expect to get a high pressure into it.
