    mate, i'd avoid the Targa machines because there is a serious problem with cracked hinges!!! do a search in google for more info.
    i haven't ordered from notebookshop myself but i've heard they are very reputable.

    German keyboards have a different keylayout than irish ones and caracters we dont use.
    You could of course mark the keys with the right caracters once you get it.

    not every targa has these problems I've one for the last year and have had no hassles with the hinges.

    Yeah i am preferring the idea of the toshiba s it is lighter,
    how heavy is 3.5kg compared to other laptops
    is the processor on the targa ones better then the 1.6centrino on the toshiba ones??

    I want to buy a decent laptop with good (doesnt have to be great) graphics a good processor high speed, upgradeable for future if possibe and deff portable with a high battery life. I would pay €1550 max but prefer to spend a bit less prepared to order from anywhere worldwide for a bargain. Can you help

    As far as i can see the toshiba is a much superior model, the battery life is also twice as big @ four hours which is always a good thing.

    Ah Sh1te wrote a reply and it dissapeared.
    Tagras have probs with their hinges
    but i hav only heard that a few times so it may be down to rough and tumble.

    As said the keyboard is different slightly only google the layout.Also the OS is probably in German
    Willing to buy German try www.jes.de for deals sometimes - also try lidl on their deals for Tagras................no quite serious,check bargain alerts forum.
