    i'm not doubting that, but someone could say, I wanted to have the horizon of balance, that doesn't mean it looks good though. I mean I think if you didn't want the door there you would have just stepped out of the car. The picture is very boring to tell you the truth. Lacks pizzazz!

    I'm inclined to agree with Shrimp. While skies are very pretty, most of the time they can't make an entire picture on their own. They need some form of foreground. I realise you've got the car door in here, but it really does look like it was an unintentional kind of thing. If you wanted to leave it in, I think maybe it should be positioned not so it's exactly in the centre of the picture. The photograph needs to have an element of depth to it, it needs to lead the eye somewhere, so if all the main elements of the shot are positioned in the centre, there is nowhere for the eye to go, if you get me.
