Mexican wave like idea for Ireland-England

Anyone remember the experiment on Brainiac when they tried to find out the minimum number of people required to start a Mexican Wave at a football match?

In similar vein, and to extract some revenge for the England team's boorishness a couple of years ago when they forced Her Maryness to step off the red carpet and get her shoes muddy, how about organising some mass good humoured taunting of our visitors on Sunday?

If and when Ireland scores a try, thereby forcing the England team to line up behind the goal line to receive the conversion attempt, wouldn't it be good if the crowd struck up to the tune of 'Stand by your man'

    Stand where you're told
    Stand behind the goal line
    Stand behind the goal line
    Stand behind the goal line
    Stan where you're told.....etc

Need a few people to kick it off in different parts of the ground. Whaddya reckon?

Who's willing to kick off the crowd chant discussed in the thread below? 4 votes

Great Idea Homer! As soon as they line up, I'll sing out

What exactly do you base that assumption on?

It wasn't obvious as your post came directly after mine and as I don't know you very well ... OK at all! You could easily have been referring to me.

However now that things have been cleared up let me say, I concur.

    Blah blah blah what?

Yeah, excellent idea HH. Unfortunately I don't know the words - why not print out a couple thousand and hand em out :)
