No doubt Linfield fans will get their own back when the Eircom league teams travel up to Belfast next month. Silly Derry fans. :(

linfield supporters are the nicest bunch of lads you could ever meet! (remembers them trying to set fire to opposition team's pitch)

With the incidents at Everton, Burnley and Celtic over the weekend I think it's terrible that yet again two UK football clubs can't play each other without there being some kind of trouble.

    tut tut

there was reports that fireworks were thrown at the linfield goalkeeper from outside the staduim during the match.. disgraceful.

Linfield once were one of the most sectarian organisations on the island, but they've come a long way in recent years. They've plenty of catholics playing for them now and are doing their best to be all-inclusive. They recently even allowed a camogie team use their training facilities.

Pity some scumbags in Derry couldnt resist the temptation to show we still havent matured.

Certainly does not bode well for the Setanta Cup ... I would have to have second thoughts about going to Portadown now ... especially if there was an orange march on :?

Doubtful to be an atmosphere/outing to bring the kids too ....

There is a parade in Portadown on the Sunday (Sunday 10 Apr 2005) before the Cork game and on the Sunday (Sunday 24 April 2005 ) before Shelbourne game. both of which is under consideration at the minute. It has applied to do down the Garvaghy Road. (which may/may not happen?)

Personally I wouldnt bring any children to the games.. until we see how the cup pans out for the first year.
