image editor recommendations??

    ulead photo express 4 has crashed on me and refused to work again.
    has any1 any suggestions for a download of an image editor. i just need the basics so the more free programmes the better :D

    ok well, theres free, and theres FREE. Id reccommend photoshop8. Or if you have moral issues with warez, i'd reccommend paintshop pro (you can use the trial version for ever-nearly)
