Season 2 has never been released. It's oft rumoured that it will but nothing concrete has ever been announced. You can get a lower quality Spanish set if you shop around (with Spanish subs and an English dub) but that's it...

Think the 2nd season is pretty much confirmed for release.

They're working on the video transfers right now apparently.

And remember if it does come out say December 2005 - you can bet the shops in Dublin will take 12 months to get it in like they did with the first series.

I took a week off work back in November 2003, planning to buy it on the Monday (release date) and spend the week watching it.

Every shop I went into in Dublin showed complete ignorance of its existence.
Ended up driving to HMV Belfast to get it later on in the week.

    Same story with Quantum Leap

Best to order online off places like Play.com (or if it's released exclusively on Region 1.. which more and more TV shows are nowadays.. buy it from PlayUSA.com)

I cant wait to get my hands on series 2. I had never seen the show before i got the dvd so i wasnt too sure what to expect. I watched all 8 episodes in a week.
Is series 2 as good the first one?

Eh... no. It goes in bursts - there's basically a good first third, a weak middle, and a good final third. Some of the plot lines are poor but others are great, particularly... well I can't say since you haven't seen it ;) I only watched it recently... I know I said there wasn't any DVDs but I managed to appropriate the series from eh... other sources shall we say.

When you're done watching Season 2 - and only then really - should you attempt the movie 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me'. Take some pills before you do though because it's bound to give you a headache (just wait till you see the utterly insane sequence for David Bowie).
