I doubt.



Found at last but now you’re gone,
I don’t see how that’s fair.
I gave my heart, I dropped my guard,
I let you know I care.
Now I cry, now I bleed,
For your presence – nothing more,
I cannot sleep, I cannot eat,
My soul is growing sore.
This is so cruel it can’t be right,
You restored hope to me,
But now you're gone without a trace,
Just as suddenly.
My life is full of harsh deceit,
So this is nothing new,
But I’d leave everything I’ve ever known,
If I could be with you.
I’ll search for you, without a doubt,
Though it’s probably in vain,
I’ve given up; I’m caving in,
I’m destined to feel pain.
A flickered glance inside your soul,
And now I wish to die,
You left a deep imprint on me,
Although I’m not sure why.
I thought we shared a special bond,
An everlasting tie,
But now it lies in tatters,
And I can only cry.
I’m not sure what to say now,
I’m overwhelmed by gloom,
By leaving me alone here,
You condemned me to doom.
This feeling corrodes my inside,
Am I beyond all hope?
This hurt is truly physical,
I doubt that I can cope.

my bad - but I still thought of the b.s. with my recent ex when reading it & man, it just read like my own thoughts I had after splitting with her..... waaaaay wierd...
