    Surround sound system with DTS & optical in for <€200-300. Any good offers going on?
    I wont ever have it very loud. Want optical to plug in my mp3 player

    which MP3 player do you have, never seen one with an opto connector tbh, didn't think it would make much sense.
    the creative labs ones are normally good value for money imo

    the jvc ths3 is 180 euro in esb http://www.esb.ie/retailasp/esb_shops/product1.asp?cat=20&subcat=1&prodcode=6571575
    it has optical input and is should have good sound with 320 watts.

    ive got the jvc 5.1, well not got it til my b-day at the end of march but ive tested it out and is a very good deal and looks very nice

    I have a creative inspire 5.1 digital 5700. It has optical in and DTS. I use it with my pc/ps2 & my iRiver H140. tis fantastic. Only problem is you need to be the stands for the speakers seperate.
