    Hi there,

I a complete newbie in the field of space and astronomy etc.
I'm doing a final year thesis at the moment in a computers degree
I need to be able to build a scaled simulation of the solar system. I want to get it as accurate as possible. I've been looking for an algorithm for the rotations of the planets all over google but I can't find any...
Has anyone here come across an algorithm for the rotation of the planets
in our solar system? I don't mean an exactly precise one, because that
would probably be extremely complicated and probably impossible to replicate a properly version scaled in an openGL program, what with the distances
between the planets and all that. But just even an algorithm that would
simulate the orbits and rotations sufficiently for a 'kind of' correct
simulation? I would have thought that to be a pretty easy thing to find
on google but haven't come across anything really!!
Anyway if ya know of anything would ya let me know, before I have to
    start playing God here!!

    Thanks
    Fi**
