So what do we think? I think the bold use of the visual metaphor is very powerful. It is a reminder that some people need to be taken down a peg or two. Perhaps when people are looking for a discussion to have it 'cut short' isn't the most appropriate way to treat such a 'thread' of hair, so to speak...
