    how much does a piano tuning generally cost and what qualifications should a piano tuner have?

    I'd say in the region of €60-90 more likely to be the former figure. Well i mean just book someone from a company in the yellow pages or something. You are unlikely to fall victim to a Piano Tuning fraud, i don't think even for a con man there is much business in piano tuning.

    Hahaha, very true Nidge :-)
    Piano tuners generally get most of their work by word of mouth, but as Nidge implied, any piano tuner will be, generally, as good as the next.
    I'd agree with the €60-€90 pricemark too (£40-£70 for me).
    Going by difference in price, I'm presuming, it's just a matter of phoning around for the cheapest.
