Desperately seeking a bass player

    This seems to be a problem thankfully not only experienced by myself and the two guys who make up our band. We have been rehearsing now for quite a while without a bass player. We are based in Tallaght and play all our own stuff (rock,blues,funk,indie influenced among others) but still looking to widen our horizons so are open to other styles also. We are looking for someone (in their 20s preferably) to rehearse and record (we have recording equipment and studio) and hopefully become the fourth member (missing link) of our band. So if you are in our area or willing to travel to us, please let me know because we are getting to the stage where we want to get our music out there!!!

    who are your influences. i play bass, into lots of music: funk, punk, rock, everything with some talent. And dance too.

    Influences? vary between the 3 who form the band. Red hot chili peppers would be one but we are open minded and don't want one particular sound. we want to mix it up so it would just be a matter of having a listen to see if you'd be into it. Where do you live? What age are you?

    ha, yes the chili peppers make up a considerable portion of my CD collection. but I agree with you on mixing it up. it's good to have more than one trick. I'm 23, on the southside (with access to a car). did you say you have a demo I could check out?
