    i live in kildare just would like to know if anyone down this way can get freeview before i buy a box i get it at the moment not very strong from enniskillen :confused:

    you would be able to get it if you can recieve a strong picture of channel 5.

    i doubt that people can even get channel 5 in kildare. sorry. :

    The "Enniskillen" (Brougher Mountain) transmitter carries freeview but doesnt carry (analouge) Channel 5

    If your current analogue signal from Brougher Mountain (which some people refer to as Enniskillen) is not great (ghosting excepted) then your chances of receiving any Freeview channels from the same transmitter would be unlikely.

    The furthest South Ive heard of anyone getting DTT (from NI) is Mullingar

    reception in Kildare is highly unlikely but radio/TV reception can be a black art and nothing can be ruled out
