    Hey all!

'steve have all the credentials to make them one of the most significant guitar bands in Christian music with this strongly melodic, edgy debut.'

This quote describing the debut album of excellent Christian Rock guitar band, simply named "Steve" gives you an idea of what to expect from a band which offer "utterly fresh, modern worship for a new generation" (Cross Rhythms 2001). Coming all the way from the UK (& No, I don't care how near it might seem with those cheap flights, fare play to them for coming I say!) they're playing in Saint Mark's Church, Pearse St, Dublin 2 (opposite the back of Trinity College) this Sunday, the 20th February, at Seven Saint Marks- and thats at 7pm Godincidently!

Along with Steve, Saint Mark's stage will also see our "resident" DJ Niall Redmond giving it louds on those decks of his so all in all, this line-up makes it a gig not to be missed! One more great feature about this gig is that there's no admission fee, yes, its FREE, FREE, FREE :D ! We won't poke and prod you for your money though your offering at the door will be gratefully accepted. There's also a cafe open on the night offering you all sorts of delicious delights and drinks to choose from.

For more info: about the band, check out www.steverock.com and about the gig and venue, just email sevenstmarks@eircom.net. Its mostly for the 18-30s age range but if you'd like to check out a Christian band with influences from those Red Hot Chilli peppers, Radiohead, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and others, Saint Marks on Sunday the 20th is where Steve's at. This gig's for christians, their friends and those of us who are innately curious! You know you want to... just take a look at least!
    ......
    So I'll see you there!
    ;)
