Just got a digital ixus (branded powershot from USA) and got a high speed 512MB card. Just wondering what setting i should set the camera to in order to obtain a good quality picture. What i mean is what compression and what size of print!

    Thanks,

    HK

I use the best available setting (Large Superfine) when I shoot with my S50 - the files are a manageable size.

With the SLR its a different story and I have to consider the file size I'm going to be uploading for printing - an 8mb file just isn't practical when the print size is a measly 7x5 - lower settings come out fine (normally use medium).
