Am toying with the idea of upgrading to a new 17 pb. At the moment I have the early 17 1g model with 512 ram office and I life 04 on it. Airport extreme card too. What would I be likely to get for it? Just want to get an idea before I think any more about upgrading:)

I'm thinking the same thing too, I have a PB 17" with 1GM of RAM, it's two years old and I think a fair price is €1,500. I've asked around and other have agreed. How old is your PB?

The pair of yiz should go on to eBay and search for recent COMPLETED auctions for this machine - you have to be a registered eBayer but that's free anyway - best way to see what the market's paying for that particular model. You'll probably get a range of proces - pick the average and adjust your expectations accordingly.
