Messed up images in Firefox

Since the weekend, I've been having problems with images in Firefox. Sometimes they load, sometimes they don't. More often than not, the 'wrong' image is loaded (for example, the background of the Post New Thread banner above is a bunch of stars, that kind of look like the ones on the homepage). I've tried clearing my cache to no avail (although a little better).

Anyone encountered this before? I'm using v1, and any searches I've found refer to the beta versions.

I am having the very same problems. It is really bad on boards.ie especially. I have tried it on IE6 and its ok with that. I was actually thinking of reinstalling FF, but have not as of yet.

I had a load of problems with firefox.

I fixed it by uninstalling it, deleting "C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\" and re-installing. Works a treat now!
Beware of dodgy extensions, usually the cause of firefox woes.

Strange as I never had a prob with boards on Firefox - even though I might have several tabs open at once. I'm on XP with all the latest patches and whatnot.

Any time I get weirdness like that, removing the extensions fixes it.

My extension for tabbed extension wont let my click the links to forums from the pull down menu's, removing it done the trick.
