02 webtext delays today, anyone else?

my texts just arent sending today, is anyone else having this problem?

Are they sending ok from the web but people aren't receiving them or what? I sent a few earlier but wasn't expecting a reply from the person yet so assumed they sent ok.....

All seems ok from the web side of things but they are delayed about 3 hours or so.

I'm sure, like new years / Christmas, Valentines is one of the peak time for text messaging in Ireland, given the young demograhic and high mobile ownership.
Basically, the network is overloading on "I LUV U"s

Most likely. Companies should take the necessary steps to avoid such traffic though.

I assume they'll never arrive and I'm often right. About as usefull as a choclate teapot really.

I am using them every day to send messages abroad, and never ever went one of them missing. In 95 % of all times they arrive within a minute.

Yeah the service is usually flawless for me and all my messages did arrive, just hours late.

Service is back to normal today.

A good trick to see if msgs are being sent and delivered ok is to send one to yourself before sending to anyone else. Saves alot of hassle coz if they're not being delivered I'll just use my phone and I won't be wondering why this person didn't get back to me and why that person never called me etc etc...

Thats pretty obvious and anyone who doesnt try that is...
