While its proper name hasn't been fully decided yet, Musician's home game gave birth to a new poker game to be seen soon at the WSOP.

Hyzepher suggested it, we argued about the rules then we started to play.

Each player antes.
Everyone is dealt three cards.
The player to the left of the dealer has the option to bet, the rest of the players can raise/fold/call just like in preflop hold'em.

Once betting is finished each person discard a card and passes it to their left. Thus everyone now has 'drawn' and has either a made hand or not.
There is another round of betting/calling/raising and the the showdown.
Hand rankings are as for Casino Brag. I.e. High card - pair - flush - straight - trips - straight flush.

So the best starting hands are big pairs, and big suited connectors, KQs qould be a monster with high pair potential, flush, straight and straight flush potential.

Yes indeed your best drawing hand would be 34s with a 2 or 5 being a likely card you'll receive from the right.
