    Digimate 17" TFT from Amazon.co.uk
Its £139 sterling plus P&P not bad at all.

Works out about €225 delivered - if ordering go for the cheapest shipping option and amazon will upgrade you to dhl anyway.

I got mine delivered that way during the week very nice indeed.

    Anyone bought it?
What exactly is difference between LCD and TFT??

    What is the TFT LCD?

TFT stands for "Thin Film Transistor" and describes the control elements that actively control the individual pixels. For this reason, one speaks of so-called "active matrix TFT's". LCD means "Liquid Crystal Display" and stands for monitors that are based on liquid crystals.

I notice that Davey Devil's monitor have DVI & VGA whereas the €209 above is VGA only.

thinking of getting a 19" monitor for mainly gaming, which would be a good choice?

That only has an analogue input. Personally I wouldn't get a monitor without DVI.

DD - What's advantage of DVI?
Do you need a higher spec graphics card?
    TIA

Don't know if Argos south are doing these. But if you know anyone in north or UK, worth trying...limited stock.

I bought the BenQ FP937s+ from www.jes.de. Cost me 485 including delivery, a bit of an outlay but it's a beautiful mointor. 8 ms response time, 700:1 contrast. Have played Half Life 2, Pro Evo 4 etc on it and it's a joy to behold! Amazing clarity. Expensive but worth it.

what is the largest size this monitor comes in? 17 19 21?
and is it a case or the bigger the screen the futher apart the pixel is ?
hence smaller and clearer like a tv .
i think the 14 inch tvs are so viberant in colour compared to large tvs.
