Am looking for a laptop backpack on a/c of my laptop case looking like I'm a doctor on call! (have had many comments to this effect....)

anyway was looking for peoples comments/suggestions as to what laptop backpack to get (in keeping with my age and the fact I don't want to draw atttention to the €1.5k on my back!)

was looking at the samsonite ripple/new jack (to give you a feel of what I'm looking for!)
    ripple
    new jack
oh yeah the lappy is 15 inch standard screen (not wide)
    thanks

I've got one of those TecAir jobs aswell. Grand bag as Rew says.. air pockets around the laptop and loads of foam padding in other areas for peripherals and whathaveyou.

    It's this one actually.

PC World has a selction of them as I remember.

The bigest advantage of them is that they dont look like laptop bags. Not like the Dell ones that should have a sign on em saying "ROB ME" ;)

you could go for a ballistic sleeve like the ones on www.sfbags.com and plonk it in a normal backpack. That's what I do with my Sony S, but admittedly, this might be problematic for a larger laptop.

just checked the site 4 the sleeve and the prices are much the same 4 a bag so I think I'm gonna steam ahead now with the bag....toss up between the tech air and the samsonite unless they're any more suggestions?

You could always order a sleeve + flap + strap + piggyback which would give you the flexibility of the sleeve with the ability to use it as a standard laptop bag if needed. Just a thought.
