Here we go with the sony hype machine. Sure they look impressive, but all it is is a floating head. Make your own conclusions

Wow, amazing what can be done with 3D Studio max these days.

These are just "next gen" renders rather than PS3 renders.

Interesting, but just remember when Nvidia introduced the FX5800 awhile back ,they had similar renders whichi were created by the graphicscards, but you should know by now, that this is a short program, which will never represent original game footage.
IT will manage to process this, but just think how long it is going to take to make a game with graphics that high spec.

    Where are the images from?

Anyway, the PS3 will, as confirmed by SCEA, be publicly showed 'before' E3 in May!...

Ive seen similar (not as good though) rendering from using AVI files for photo-realistic graphics. Though 3DS Max, Maya, can create some incredible 3d models with photorealistic textures.

Also recent GPU's have seriously increased in recent years. I guess this new Cell Technology that the PS3 is dictated to be powered by really must be something else.

Looks like in game shots. One review I saw said they look good but no better then 2004 PC games.
