    Ya it will all work together fine.
    Question #3: can I do better for my money? For example, getting a system from the good people at Dell Outlet?

    As for your system, if you're unsure about things or want to guarentee compatibility have a look at the Komplett Upgrade and bundle packages. Then you'll just need to add case, psu, hdd, graphics and cdrom.. which are all very generic anyhow.. (the only 3 that really have issues are mobo/cpu and ram)
