    A laugh making me weak at the knees,
    Getting lost in her brown eyes,
    Making me discard my disguise,
    Dying again frm every moment apart,
    No stiches or glue can mend a heart,
    Broken in truth from memories,
    Of a thousand words said to me,
    From the electric first kiss,
    To the first moment of sensual bliss,
    Sexually intertwined by candlelight,
    Interwoven form against the night,
    Sweet nothings spoken & written,
    Spiritually & emotionally driven,
    This feeling, the drug dependency,
    chemical interaction on which I feed,
    A change within left me out in the cold,
    A tribute to words frankly said & told,
    Finding myself alone in the darkness again,
    Unknown of where to start or begin,
    Alone, I stand, fall & resurrect,
    like the open wound I cover to protect,
    Unable right now to stop the memory flow,
    Wishing I could make that chapter go,
    Or burn the pages of those memories,
    To again release me into being pain free.
