I have a Tunecast II (i have the dark gray one that comes with a car power adapter). I bought it off EBay and had it in 3/4 days. Seller marked down the vaule and put the contents as a FM reciver so no legal problems.
Here is the same seller selling the same item:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=75523&item=5748881110

4 Hours left on it. Dont be put off by high delivery charges, they do that to avoid paying money to EBay (they pay a % of the item cost but not the postage). Mine worked out at €35 delivered and a couple of friends used the same seller after they saw mine and got the same execlent service.

Is the belkin one the most reliable/best value/cheapest one around? works on anything with a headphone socket?

that'd be very very handy for the car.

Iv found it very good. We go Dublin Waterford alot and I programed 4 frequencys in to the unit and the same in to the car stereo so if there is interference its easy to change the frequency while driving. It works with anything with a head phone jack. The TuneCast II has an auto power on/off when it detects a signal coming in which takes a bit of getting used to. What ever one you get make sure it has a car adapter as they fairly eat batteries. It can be a bit messy in the car when you have it all hooked up I have to say. Iv seen a few that plug in to the cig lighter and the line in cable just come off it. Ther is an iRiver branded one like that iv seen.

i have the original tunecast 1 and i have to say, if your buying one of these, dont skimp on cost, you'll regret it in the long run, while the tunecast 1 is great, it doesnt have the auto on/off feature and it only has 4 possible frequencies (88.1, 88.3, 88.5 and 88.7) . meaning batteries dont last very long and it's more susceptible to interference only 88.1 and 88.3 are clear for me and sometimes only 88.1, which doesnt leave me much choice when it comes to interference. tunecast 2 looks great though.

failing that if its gonna be in your car all the time, you can buy a wired version which plugs inline with your aerial and is powered from the cars 12v line, meaning perfect reception and never need to change batteries. check ebay for fm modulator
