I see this is on special offer on Komplett.

My question is, I have dsl with eircom and currently have a dlink504 dsl modem/router which I have the dsl telephone cable connected directly to. My question is, can I plug the telephone cable directly in to the 3Com OC Wireless 11g Cable/DSL ? In other words, does it have "dsl modem" capabilities. It's not entirely clear to me.

    Thanks,
    TC

No modem included, TinCool. The giveaway is the phrase "Cable/DSL Gateway", and the definitive proof is in the interfaces section of the specification.

You might still be able to use it, though, if you can configure your d-link in bridge mode.

Ok, so if I run the 504 in Bridge mode, I'm assuming that it'll be able to still use it's modem capabilities but won't use it's DHCP and that. So how would I connect from the 504 to the 3Com wireless ? Would it be an rj45 from one of the 4 ports on the 504 to the 3com ?

    Right.

    Right again.

If the ports aren't auto-sensing, you'll need a crossover cable - try a regular cable first, though.
