Can anyone tell me where I can get decent non-leather shoes/runners in Dublin. NOT bloody Birkenstocks, as I'm not a 50-year old German businessman on holidays in the Bavarian Alps!

I've sourced a couple of online stores based in the UK, but I don't like the idea of buying shoes without trying them on first.

Any help is much appreciated. Stupid comments about hugging tress and whatnot will be treated with the contempt they deserve.

    Cheers.

I've tried pretty hard, but failed to find anywhere in Dublin :( ('cept for runners)

I ended up booking some 99c Ryanair flights to Gatwick and taking the train to Brighton.

vegetarian-shoes.co.uk is the website with the address and selection.

    Cheers and dammit!

That's the one I was looking at alright. They seem to have quite a nice selection (even if it does include the hated Birkenstocks).
