Wicked Apple Cider - Dublin Brewing company

Well this is an odd one but..

The dublin brewing company in Smithfield does various beers one of which is a very tasty light cider called wicked apple. Most people who have tried it say its the best cider they've ever had.

Due to an overstock of it they now have loads of crates of it that went out of date in October 2004. The cider is perfectly fine to drink they just can't sell it to retailers due to this. As such they are selling it off cheap (€18.50 or so for a crate of 24).

I think they were starting to dump their stocks of it and I was told also that they probably won't be making/stocking it anymore so if you want you're last taste of a great cider then give them a ring and call into them to pick up a crate or 10. They only sell by the crate.

    Their number is :

    01 8725127

Do you have a source for this? I just rang and they knew nothing of it.. maybe because they could tell I wasn't a retailer?

Well I picked up a crate from them today and the girl I talked to told me they didn't know when they might have it again. Crate was €18.50. I don't think they care if you're a retailer or not. They told me before this taht if anyone wanted some of their beers to ring them and then call down to pick it up and pay for it.
