ne1 else like the way the headline wasn't "2 DIE IN PLANE CRASH" but "COULTHARD SURVIVES PLANE CRASH"?

    From www.formula1.com

After a thorough medical examination at the Princess Grace hospital in London yesterday (Tuesday) it has been established that David Coulthard was more seriously injured in the plane crash he was involved in last week than originally thought. The inspection brought to light that, as well as a slightly bruised chest wall, the Scot also has three cracked ribs on the right side.
Professor Sid Watkins, the FIA Chief Medical Officer, has assured McLaren that this will not affect his ability to drive in the European Grand Prix, "I am absolutely confident that David will race at the European Grand Prix and that these findings will not influence his performance," he said.

Ron Dennis, McLaren team boss, also has every confidence in the 29-year-old's ability to overcome any medical problems at the next race, "We have no doubt that David will be racing at the Nurburgring. He is not participating in our test at Jerez this week to allow time for his injuries to heal."

It's really sickening the way the press has handled this whole affair. Everyone is so concerned with David Coulthard. fuk him, how many people actually know that the two pilots died in the crash. But I haven't seen any headlines about that. It is just mentioned in passing, like " oh ya, btw ...". Nearly makes me wish that Coulthard had died, but I suppose that then no one would have known about the pilots dying. It's one fuked up world.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool
