The 56c Challenge

So I arrive in to work yesterday evening(on the night shift) and much to my dismay the remote server is down, no ladbrokes, no 365...bugger gonna be a boring night :(. I then look on the desktop and see VC, Hmmm....I wonder....I double click and bingo got a client working.

I log into my very old unused VC account to $0.56. shocking I think to myself, better deposit some funds, but then I remember Shortstack's previous challenge and so I embark on a journey of small stakes poker.

beaking past the $2 was the hardest part, I had not interest (or the patience at that) to play 10c or 20c STTs so I embark on a Turbo heads up mission.

I went up and down and up and down and at the end of day one finished on a low from $6 back down to $3, very disheartening after all that work but what can you expect when you stake half your precious bankroll on a $3 heads up.

So today I took it upon myself to reach my target of $10 a day which mean't i had work to do.

After many 1v1's a bit of cash play with some strong tight STT play here are the results after day two.

See attatchment...let's see how far this 56c will take me.

Nice Samba. Did something similar myself there recently. Had $2 in the account, worked it up to $130. Then dipped back down to $80, and after a succession of bad beats last night in the 4k guaranteed it's down to $40. It's quite enjoyable working it up though.

n1 :). I've gone from $20 down to $2, back up to about $30, and went on a serious tilt. Ended up with $3 starting cash last night and ran that out in about 3 hours.

Have to wait till friday week now before I can top it up, so having to play the playcash tables, and read read read up on as much about this as I can. I tried playcash omaha hi/lo last night and went from 4k up to 100k and lost it all again :). Hadn't a clue what I was doing, but as it was play cash I had some fun. I'll sit down and pay attention soon enough, but hold'em seems to be my game at the moment.
