    I was wondering about this aswell. I nearly gave up on life after coming out of a tough exam and finding the bar was closed.

    Sounds bad - in 1998 it didn't open up after Christmas :(

    Thinkin' this myself... finished an exam today and hadn't eaten and the canteen was closed. Was dyin for food and I don't like Spar rolls...

    Also it'd be nice to not have to trek out to the Slipper or the Autobahn on Monday when exams are finito

    SInce there are exams on in the venue and the bar open would cause a distraction I'd say it'll be open again after the exams.

    If ya want, say, a muffin or something or a cup of tea it's grand. If you want something substantial it doesn't really cut it.

    They do sandwiches and stuff but they're the prepackaged ones that are probably there ages

    The bar definitely won't be open until at least the 28th, they won't open it while there's exams on, something about student welfare I guess :) I'm not sure they'll even bother to open it before college starts back. There's nothing wrong with the Slipper for post exam celebration/drowning of sorrows though.

    That severly damages my post-exams bonanza. I wanted to drink at college, go to town, drink there, go home, drink at the local.
    Although I suppose I can see why they don't open it. All those individuals who'd think "I'll just have one, to relax me for the exam...just one".

    Yeah semester 2 doesn't start until the following week, we have a lovely "inter-semester" break of a week in the meantime thank god. Doesn't quite make up for the fact that we don't get much of a Christmas break but it'll do for now.
