'Tilt' - new poker related TV show from ESPN

    Just watched the first episode of Tilt over the last few days. It is currently airing int e States on ESPN. It stars Michael Manson and ona the whole is pretty good with some cameo appearences from well known players. Not sure where they can go witha poker related series but I imagine it will be along the lines of Las Vegas where the poker becomes secondary to a episode related story-line.

    Still could have promise - i'll check out the next few episodes as they are aired

    I'd seen an ad for this on IMDB a few days ago, and had been trying to find out a bit more (Michael Madsen and poker sounds like a good combo).

    How did you get hold of/see it Chris?

    Saw ep 2 last night and it is getting better - still a bit cheesey when it comes to the poker definitions etc but I guess they have to educate the general public. The series looks to be one main story line adn then a few sub-plots per episode.

    I downloaded the 2nd one but haven't watched it yet, seems to be an ok program, there are worse out there and least this one is about poker! Sure throw some sex and drugs in there and I'm sure it will be a hit!

    This is in the 'so bad it's good' league - Michael Madsen continues his 'i want to be Mickey Rourke, don't ask why' thing, and the script... I know it's not meant to be high quality but still :) 'I wipe my ass on 8 grand, 9 if I've had chilli'

    Anyway have downloaded ep 2 & 3 and will eagerly watch :)

    Watched ep 1 &2 over the w/e and it's not that bad really. All said above. Let's see how it pans out.

    Doubt benefit giving etc etc.
