    i do buy them the odd time in korea etc for peanuts but i wait for months some times to get them

    anyone on here still get them>?

    the "scene" still rls cams and the odd ts on vcd
    its the rules

    i dont think thats what you mean tho.
    ive never bought a vcd in my life.

    I've never bought a vcd, although i used to burn the odd movie or two onto vcd before i had a dvd burner, not for myself but for others that wanted a copy and that didn't have a pc. The quality is extremely poor tho, SVCD aint too bad as it uses Mpeg2, the same as DVDs, but a movie ends up taking 3 or 4 cds then...

    Suffice it to say, i don't use them anymore.

    not at all, I have numerous films on Svcd that are 2 cds and the quality on them are superb

    Depends on the bitrate man, although i do know what you're saying they can come out looking brilliant. I guess i just prefer burning divx stuff to dvd-r and watching them on my divx dvd player :P
