Problem with Aldi TV Tuner Card

    I bought one of these on thursday but cannot get sound on it. I have a good picture. I am checked everything a 1000 times and nothing is disconnected or wrongly connected - and nothing is muted. Set to max volume.
    Tuner output is connected to line-in on sound card and I have connected my mp3 to this cable and get perfect sound. It is not silent as I get "noise" thro the speakers but it is just noise.

    I had this when i first bought my Pinnacle studio PCTV card, maybe its the same problemo.

    I had to configure the tv card software and set the audio input to be the correct source... you will prpobably have load of options (Line in , Mic, etc etc).

    Don't know what is should be for you, but its a place to start.

    Also there should be an FAQ/Forumn online for the software.

    As a last ditch effort you could try downloading a 3rd party TV Card software... i've tried this with very little success previously.
