If you like iPods, you could pick up the new, ultra-small iPod shuffle for €99/€149 depending on whether you get the 512Mb or 1Gb model. See here for more info.

    creative muvos are very good.

    Got a 1 gig N200 for xmas.

Overall very happy with it. Supports folder skipping so you can keep music in seperate folders and the sound quality is good. Also has FM radio and mic and backlit lcd.

No copy protection: just drag and drop files.

Runs off AAA batteries which may not be your cup of tea. (15hrs bat life).

Only major flaw with it is the back light for the LCD hums when you have it on, can be annoying during a quite song, but it can be disabled.

Also the N200 uses a usb cable to hook up to a pc, the creative V200 comes in the traditional muvo format: memory stick + battery nodule which would be more your cup of tea if want to use the player as a mem stick. Otherwise you will be carrying around the cable.

Overall very happy with the N200.

Have a look through the komplett.ie MP3 player section.

They have a bucket load of memory stick players + specs and pictures.

Give you a better idea of which one you want.

i'd go with a creative muvo, i had a 256mb version about a year ago, and i loved it, up until it ended up in the pocket of my trousers...while they were being washed.

the new muvo tx is really nice, with built in fm radio and can be used as a memory stick without having to carry a cable, i bought my one off ebay and got quite a good deal.

    512mb muvo tx on ebay

also as uberpixie suggested, look around on komplett
