Help Running PHP 5 on Windows 98 with PWS?

i just cant get the php code to run. all i get is a blank screen!! i got the installer of www.php.net. i pick PWS on windows 98 in the install options and it installs fine. everything to do wit installin PHP was fine until i tried to run a page. can anyone help me with this? also, when i installed PWS it said there was an error installing Microsoft Transaction Server. would that be related? thanx.

Was my impression that PHP5 was NT/2k/XP only when it came to Windows support. Could be wrong though.

ill check that, but i found this http://uk2.php.net/manual/en/faq.installation.php#faq.installation.blankscreen so i think its a problem with my configuration, only i dunno how to fix it!!

why would the installer have an option for PWS on Windows 9x/ME if it was only NT/2k/XP?

Do you need to use PWS, you could try minixampp an all in one package
of PHP/MYSQL/APACHE that needs no configuration to get started.
