Looking at buying a getting a system from komplett and putting it together myself but I'm lookin for a few opinions on a couple of things.

I'm looking for this to replace my current pc, use it for mostly websurfing, the odd game, watching DVD's and that. An all round system.

I have about 1100/1200 odd to spare for it, not including sub & speakers, keyboard, mouse.

Tempted by the pack with Intel P4 3.0GHz, 512mb RAM DVD±R/RW, 160GB HD for 680 euro but a friend of mine was of the opinion that he would get the
AMD Sempron 2200+,256MB DDR, CD-R/RW, 40GB HD for 250 euro and then spent the difference on a gfx card and a decent monitor, which does make sense but is it too much of a drop in the processor speed?

And the next question is: CRT or TFT?

    Any advice appreciated.

Was expectin just a few links - top man Ciaran :)

My german is pretty poor but I don't think I see a monitor there =/

I think I might have to stretch it :)

    [edit]

Are they a reliable enough crowd to buy stuff from? Anyone here bought from them? Delivery times? Hassle?

That doesn't include a monitor, just the tower.

I've bought from them with no problems at all. If you do a search of this forum you should find loads of happy customers.

Signing up to paypal can be a real bitch, especially if you have to verify your account.

I just noticed it comes with a keyboard and mouse BTW.

Will have to do that I'd say Ciaran, cheers again.

My sister has her PayPal account all setup, can I use my account on jes-computer.de and then log into her PayPal or will it matter about billing addresses / credit card addresses matching and the like?
