Gmail attachment problem

    Anyone else having trouble recieving attachments to your gmail account. it only seems like a problem coming from hotmail accounts. They appear in my inbox with a little paperclip icon but when i open them...no attachment! This isn't just from one sender but a few people!
    any suggestions,

    Just a suggestion. But are you sure its an actual attachment? If you send something in HTML format with little graphics in the text or sig, a little paper clip will appear.

    yeah they are supposed to be anyway. Its mainly college friends sending jokes, jpegs and small mpegs. Cant understand what is wrong, could it be a problem on hotmails side?

    gmail blocks all exe files and other ones that could contain viruses. it could be that
