I have two pairs of boots that are the exact same except that one pair is blue, the other red. Today, I was thinking it would be really funny if I wore one blue boot and one red boot together some day. Is the world ready for such radical fashion or would I look like a complete gímp? All opinions welcomed! :)

Buddy, it all depends on where you do it. you could be bald with two heads and naked wlaking down the streets of New york and you wouldn't get a second look!... Try it, if only as a psycological experiment into human behaviour and the possible reactions of your peers.

What the hell, can't be any worse that what everyone else is wearing.

I think it would be kind of fun.

I say go for it, but we obviously want pics.

I did it with matching beige and nevy runners about a month ago, got the frowning of a lifetime by some. tell me if you get on any better.

weren't there running shoes in the 80s that were floresant pink on the left half and floresant green on the right half and vice versa on the other shoe, giving the same effect from one side but were also matching shoes, I remember seeing a lot of people wearing them during one year in the olympics, fizzled out before long as I recall.

    Anyonr remember that girl-band, Cleopatra?

they had cool hair and stuff.
they wore mismatched shoes, usually really chunky trainers eg Swears.

looked pretty cool come to think of it.

Oh christ, they were quite possibly the worst one-hit wonders in existance! Their "Song" consisted of repeating the line 'Cleopatra, comin' at ya' over and over again.

It was honestly humanity's darkest hour for the fact that they weren't shot in the face.

I think it would look terrible...but thats just me :) Go for it if you think it looks good.

I say go for it. Matching is overrated.

depends. if you'e gonna wear it with like, jeans and a tshirt, eh no. but pair it with something ridiculously fashionistaesque and very eyecatching and you could be on to something

There's a fine line but in this case I'd diagnose the latter. Wear darks shades and a white cane and you might just swing it.

Did you ever see Paul King of MTV/VH1 fame in his heyday? Enough said :D

Yeah, you're right but I don't think I'd get away with it.

I really did not need to have memories of Cleopatra resurface in my mind!

don't forget to mention to anyone who tells you that you've got odd shoes on that they're wrong, in fact you have another pair just like them at home...

It's worse than what I'm wearing, and I'm not known for my good taste. The term "dressed like an Australian's nightmare" comes to mind.

However, It's a one in a million shot and it just might work.

Excellent, one-in-a-million shots work nine times out of ten!
