Your death row tune

Was just rummaging through a box this evening and came across some CD's I hadn't seen for ages (you know how it is). One of them was Simple Minds.. Got me thinkin, if I'd one song to hear before I popped my clogs it would be Belfast Child.... The intro, quiet beginning, building up to a crescendo and then calm again.

Flick the switch now Warden Norton and fry me... my time is done.. Get busy livin and all that...

So whats your death row tune and there's "well I couldn't possibly choose..." - sorry, you're gone, don't have time for dawdling... Pick ONE.....

Does it have to be a song?
I'd quite like Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Overture. But failing that I'll take Radiohead's Street Spirit (Fade Out).

I think either would set the tone quite nicely.

'Time is on my side'(or at least thats the main line in the song) , saw it in a film before , when a person was on death row they were singing this , and I found it quite funny and it its always good to laugh at unfortunate situations .

I'd probaly throw the switch myself if someone started playing Belfast Child.

I'd go for "Jump" by Dudley Moore.

Claire De Lune. While you were making your final walk, through the prison (in slow motion of course), with the sun bursting through the roof windows, and all the inmates peering through their cells! And on the final note, they flick the switch.Cue the Credits.
    That would be stylish

    Joydrop 'Expiry Dates'

    No wings and no gates
Just skill-testing questions and expiry dates
When you step on through the next phase

    Before I leave this world
I want to know whatever they know
'Cause I'm not afraid to hold it
Wanna blow the whole thing wide open

    Before I leave this world
I want to tell you all that I know
    And say all the things
I should have said a long, long time ago
