hey all my friends in college are on about this huge tidal wave thats going to sink half the caribbean and all of Ireland. they say its going happening in the next 20years or so and its going to be 500 feet high. they are actually really freaking out about this and its quiet annoying. is there any truth in this or is it a load of hype just made up to scare people.

tell your friends to kill themselves NOW, to avoid the horrible death by tidal wave.

I hear it's worse than cancer.

Everything you hear from friends at school is true. Verification on internet forums only makes it more true.

Google La Palma + megatsunami. and then do it again with +bbc.

I heard about this before. It has got to do with one of the Canary Islands i believe. They reckon when the volcano explodes next time it will cause half of the island I think to fall into the sea causing a massive tidal wave that will cause havoc to places like the Caribbean the american east cost, south american east cost as well as Africa and some of Europe, possibly including ireland.

Why not just one of each, and see what strange and wonderful creatures you can breed.

    Great Idea!
What would the kids of a duck and an elephant look like?

oooh, the end of the world eh? TV lied...they said it would be on Pady's Day...that's also what my stereotypical companion in darkness said to me. Let's all go listen to some Cradle of filth, and get our tongues pierced, and dye our hair black etc, etc....

Apparently only the south coast of Ireland would be hit and by that time the wave would be only 10m high (from an initial ~500m)
