ok i know this will be odd...

go to dunnes go into the school socks and tights part and you can get heavy tights they work wonders, messure your leg and waist so you get the right size(they dont do them in adult messurements ie size 10 med ect they do ...cm height and waist ... cm

You can get thigh high socks in a little (as far as I can tell) nameless shop in the george's street arcade, it's down the side and they sell bags and things. You can also, (unless things have changed since I last checked) get thigh high socks in Ad Hoc, the shop beside Metalmorphosis in Temple Bar.

A good while ago you could buy those leg warmer type things in Miss Selfridge, not sure if they still do that and they were fierce expensive anyway.

The place in the George's Street arcade was part of showco which is now closed down, unless a new, similar shop has taken its place...

Also, you can get thigh high socks (and maybe leg-warmers with a bit of luck) in Sé/Sí in Temple Bar.

You must mean a different place, unless the one I'm talking about closed down within the last couple of weeks... it's in between the book shop and weird food place, if I can recall properly...
