I was thinkin of Greece. Any ideas what tour operator would be best and any other suggestions of where to go? And since we're an all boys school any girls have the same idea of bringin a load of freinds somewhere? ;)

I can't tell if you're *actually* spelling that wrong, or making an extremely funny poke at Beno's spelling of Greece.

ive been to hersonisses, crete, playa del ingles ,kos, ayia napa and majorca for mad drinking holidays and i can tell you now ayia napa is by far the best.

i didnt like crete at all, del ingles was good but it is a bit rough and ayia napa is just perfect (and its just as dear as everywhere else!)
I recommend Nicks apartments, the fella that owns them is a legend and he will give you free drink and lifts to the water park.

how much would be to go on a holiday like that, price of drink bein a major factor. And would there be any probs for under 18's. i'm 18 myself but some my m8s arnt. tour operator or organise ur own? thx a mil

to go to ayia your lookin at about between 600 - 700 euros.

The price of drink in clubs is the same as over here but its cheaper in the shops so just have a few before you go out!

forgot to mention no bother being under 18 they dont give a ****, they just want to get you in to the place so you will spend money, they wouldnt care if you were 11.

what would be the best way of organising something like this? Go to a travel agent or an internet travel agent or organising it all my self. cost and time wise
And whats the most popular place for leavers?

Get a head count of everyone who's in. Go to the travel agent, talk, find out how much the deposit is, and get it off everyone. At that point there's no dropping out and no joining in.

    can you get group discounts?

I'd recommend calling into a travel agents and picking up a few holiday brochures from companies like Panorama, Direct Holidays, Budget holidays etc. The brochures themselves will give you plenty of information on all the resorts listed above and if you have any further questions, I'm sure the travel agent could help you out!

Booking with a travel agents has its advantages, especially when it comes to going away with a big group. You can each call in to pay your share whenever it suits you and you can pay in cash (which is handy for students who don't tend to have credit cards)! Plus, booking with a tour operator gets you airport transfers etc!

thx i'm goin into town tomorrow and i'll check it out. But u cant really trust what the brochures says i'm lookin for inside info or somethin like that. Thx

I'm sure there'll (is that a real word?) plenty there but i suppose if anyone wants to, to balance up the num, i would be very much in favour.

Anyway went to travel agent and she reconmended crete, ayia napa and turkey. Turkey is supposed to be dirt cheap once your there but costs just as much to get there.

Anyone been there? If so what was it like?
