    Hi all,
time to draw on the wealth of knowledge around here.

VW Golf '99 1.4 almost 80K on the clock due for a service.
I'm looking for most of all a reliable place in Santry, Swords area
    to get it serviced.

I'll be the first to admit (but not to the garage) that I know SFA about machanics, but I'd like to know what to expect when I go. Can I get a few tips please people? ;)

Not too sure about the mechanics but at 80k on the clock, has it had the timing belt changed? If not then you really should get it done, it's expensive but far cheaper than a new engine if it snaps.

having said that i once bought a good engine for 150 punt and had it stuck in for 200 punt. but it is good idea to have belt, tensioners and water pump changed if none have been done.
