6800gt confusion

i see some 6800gt's have 256MB 1000MHz high speed DDR3 memory and others have 128MB 700MHz high speed DDR memory apart from this they are the same the price differnce is about 85 euro is it realy worth going for the more expensive one? 1280x1024 is the highest res my lcd can do so i wont be going any higher than that so in…

Yeah, Id say its worth it. Overclocking the RAM on my 6800 GT from 1000mhz to 1110mhz gives a tangible performance increase. I shudder to think what it would be like at 700mhz !
