this one is about two years old, 'tis alright. i'm pissed off that i can't write in this style anymore though...

    Summer rain

Those bloodied drops of rain fall slowly from crimson clouds of a summer’s twilight
(In each is reflected torn emotion).
That sun stalls, teasing at the horizon, stealing light beneath the billows
(And I should be somewhere else).

This window is open, I’ll say I saw it from here, but I wasn’t outside
    (Where I could have been).
The air is crisp, charged; the rain has cleaned it and the light has dressed it
    (And you were someone else).

I love it, was the title by any chance derived from the song "november rain", it has a similar meaning to your poem.

actually no, even though i know where your coming from.

Keyzer, i'd rather not like to explain what the poem means, this to me would defeat the purpose of writing poetry and exposing it for criticism. i'd very much appreciate it if you'd have a go at it yourself and throw down any idea that comes your way.
believe me, it would benefit both of us.
