Me and a friend are planning on going to get a job in sweden for the summer. Problem is that neither of us speak a word of swedish, were wondering how much of a barrier this will be and any other info. would be great like places to work, types of work and so on and so forth. Thanks!

Not speaking swedish is no great barrier for going on holiday cos everyone speaks English there. Might be a different story as regards working though.

I'm always hearing from Swedes that there's no jobs over there, so that might hold you back...

They Speak better English than most , and there are plenty of bar/waiting jobs , this will be your best summer ever if you go , can;t reommend it enough

Don't rent in the city , it's quite lovely in the outskirts and far cheaper.

Make sure you take the boat trip to see The Archipelago, it is a must , perhaps a wonder of the world in my book , bring beer music and smokes though.

Sweden is the bomb of a city , go , now god damn it . and enjoy
