Its all getting rather silly now IMO. Football is a contact sport and they should be targeting the cheats rather than player who are pushing other players. Hunt wasn't injured in any way by it so why bother?!

actually both the pusher and diver should be punished , it may not be much contact , but the more your allowed contact the more past the boundaries of whats allowed people will try . Next they'll be people eye gouging :eek:

The perfect solution to that is to slap a longer ban on the player.

In my opinion this whole disciplinary thing is causing all of the cheating. Players throwing themselves to the ground etc. It really is slowing down the game.

He just pushed his opponent, as opposed to raising his arms to the other players face though (as far as I remember), and they FA would differentiate.

I feel sorry for him, because Hunt intentionally stood on his toe to wind him up and hence Morrison pushed him.
