Anyone know much about this. Is it worth the 29 a month.

Anyone any ideas when it comes to Maynooth?


They seem to give a good few channels compared to the 16 you get now for 27 a month.

I think the cheaper package is about €14 a month - we used to have the €29 odd per month package but we never watched the extra channels at all really - its not worth it.

Is it coming to Maynooth then??

Chorus digital is €29 pm basic, for non digital €20 pm

I got this installed Nov '04 and it took until Jan '05 to get the whole thing right, thankfully it is now.
Initally the digi box was installed with the incorrect SW which caused "boxing" to appear as images moved through the screen (If you've seen it happen you know what I mean!!), this was fixed but the power supply was faulty, got that fixed over Christams ... finally I have a stable working digi box!
anyway, not everyone will have these issue, I may have been just unlucky.

For €29 pm you get 65 odd channels, the majority of the time the reception is fine but it depends on the weather. sometimes you still get the "boxing" effect !

Why not sky ! I didn't want to pay for a premium package for a year which you must do for 12 months as a new customer !.

I live 5 miles from Maynooth, Prosperous direction so Maynooth should have this.
Another thing, I'm MMDS digital not Cable ...

Not quite true. You can downgrade your package after just one month.
